Granny Juel Day

It is hard to believe that 11 years ago today I lost my mother. She was a special lady as most mothers are. She said that she wanted to stay alive long enough for her kids to have kids. My two brother and two sisters all have kids and it was moms little baby that took so long. I was not in a hurry because I have a step-son that is dear to my heart, but mom always said that there is nothing like your own. Well that day came true on January 28 1999 at 3:15am Grace Caroline Schulz was born 6lbs 15oz, a bundle of joy to Tina and I. Mom got to see Grace two time before she passed away but before she left I truly believe that Joshua Lee Schulz born December 30 1999 and 4am 7lbs was a blessing from Jesus and her. Mom was always there to pick you up, kiss your booboo and tell you how handsome you are when the hold world is coming down on top of you.

I miss you mom but to her family she was Granny Juel.

Man what a day. Had a great lunch and spent some quality time with a friend today and talked about what God was doing in our lives. thank you Jesus for friends that don't judge.
